Challenging environmentThe situation on the markets is confusing: While the US is struggling to raise the debt ceiling, the DAX recently marked a new all-time high. At the same time, there is a large discrepancy in the performance of individual stocks - for example, the US market has been driven primarily by a few stocks over the past 6 months. Against the backdrop of geopolitical and macro-economic uncertainty, the development of interest rates is fraught with question marks. In this environment, our tracker certificate combines 25 selected quality companies with pricing power and/or strong market position, which should perform well even in a challenging environment thanks to defensive characteristics.

The new basket in detailThe 25 selected stocks are included in the basket with equal weighting at the initial fixing date. In addition to regions, diversification across sectors is also made possible thanks to broadly positioned companies with diverse end markets. The selected quality stocks are characterized by high balance sheet quality, attractive growth and a track record in profit generation. These characteristics form the basis for the defensive character of the stocks. There are no distributions to investors. The net dividends distributed by the underlying components are fully reinvested in the structured product.
