Dividend Shares: Solid Source of Income In Turbulent Times

Thursday, 4 September 2025 Reading time : 3 minutes

High-dividend stocks are considered an attractive investment opportunity for investors who value stable, regular returns. These characteristics could be particularly advantageous in the current market environment. Companies with a reliable dividend policy tend to be well-established and financially stable, meaning their business develops relatively consistently, even in turbulent times. The newly launched ZKB Tracker Certificate makes it easy for investors to invest in global dividend stocks.

The selection includes European and US equities, with a focus on Europe. The European stock market has proven robust in the current environment, particularly given the 15% tariffs that the US has imposed on exports from old continent since August. The EuroStoxx 50 has gained almost 12% since the beginning of the year (total return, as of 3 September 2025).

The addition of individual US companies with stable dividend policies results in a well-diversified selection of equities across regions and sectors. The twenty stocks are included in the basket with an equal weighting of 5% each at the initial fixing. The three-year tracker certificate is denominated in Swiss francs.
